Pros Stylish, features, camera, orientation sensor, pedometer, FM radio with pause, speaker,...
Cons Mediocre sound, no graphic equalizer, price, battery life lower than competitors',...

After having used the 1st generation Apple iPod Nano 2 GB for over a year and the 2nd generation iPod Nano 2 GB, I also tried a bunch of other MP3 players, including the latest Sony player (16GB Sony NWZ-S639FR Digital Media Player). The Sony is my current player of choice due to its sound quality,... Read full review »

iPod Nano 5th Generation - The Best "Bang For Your Buck" iPod On The Market

Pros Many great features in a petite gadget for a really solid price.
Cons The video camera leaves a lot to be desired.
Recommended it? Yes

My first interaction with an iPod was the 3rd generation original iPod. Since then, I've owned or purchased (for my kids and dad) many incarnations of the iPod from the first two generations of the shuffle to the new iPod Touch to the now "classic" iPod and the last two generations of the Nano... Pros Large High-Resolution display, VGA Video Recording, Durable, Great Value, Sexy, & FM Radio
Cons Click wheel continues to shrink, Slippery, Can not take still pictures,

Even after the announcement of the 6th generation of the iPod Nano, the 5th generation still seems to come out on top of the Nano line as the best iPod released, along with being the sexiest and best value in the Nano line. This iPod is the first to feature a video camera, and it records VGA videos... Read full review »

Pros Nice display. Long battery life. Apple support
Cons Takes a while to charge. Get the version with more memory.
Recommended it? No

8 gigs of music isnt that much. If you have a large library of music or make lots of playists i would reccomend the 16gb version. It is better than the new nano and the battery life is around 12 hours average for me. The screen is very bright but if the backlight is off you will not be able to see... Read full review »

I'm surprised at the crappiness of the build-quality and usability of this iPod.

I have the first nano and "upgraded" to the 5th generation minutes after they announced it officially at the confernce in early September.
I ordered the iPod on the day it was released. Went on a trip,... Read full review »

This is the best iPod made so far.
Great sound, compact, very easy to use, seems not to break easily (have dropped mine a few times), has a great design... And is Apple!
The only thing not so good is the video camera but hey... I can't ask much! This is an iPod, not a video camera.

Pros Easy to Use, Compact, Nice Screen
Cons A little Pricey, Poor App Support

I own a iPod Touch 3rd generation and iPod Nano 5th generation. I absolutely love my iPod Touch and use it everyday, however its not the best device for working out and running. It seems as iPod Nano was actually built for working out, its absolutely amazing; lightweight, easy to use, long battery... Read full review »
